CD/Digipack Cover Design and Annotation.

This is the paper design of my front cover, here I intend to use a particular still from my group's video - where the opposing gangs and their leaders (Professor Green and Maverick) face one another. I have decided to keep it in night-vision as the green fits in with my chosen artist (Professor Green) and will help towards a colour design, which along with memorable moments from the video will help me create iconography. As for the artists name, I am going to use a particular font which will also feature in my website. For the single title and everything else (including the other written text on my site) the font will be block writing.

This is my back cover, despite the fact that I am creating a single rather than an album cover I have decided to keep the convention and feature the name of the one song on the back (a track-listing none the less). What features on the other disc is also linked here, the green background is from the night-vision, I think I will take a picture of a particular location from my groups video, this night-vision background will be consistent.

In this single cover design I really want to highlight the opposition between these two gangs as it is a major vessel within the concept of my groups video. I want to feature photographs (special effects with night vision, of course) of one member of each opposing gang on CD1 and CD2. Again, these will be featured on my website in order to help create iconography.

Updating Professor Green.

Seeing as Jemma has contact with Professor Green through facebook, she thought it would be a good idea to inform him of our progress as from the 25th november. I was unaware of this having been posted and therefore am posting it late.

15.12.2010 - Change of Location.

Last Thursday, whilst I was dealing with some personal issues, my group decided to change the location in which we will film the gorillas part due to the lack of lighting in our original location. We've decided to film on the field in the school's ground due to the fact its on premises, therefore its safer, and the flood lights which will mean our film has better lighting and hopefully, a better quality.

8.12.2010

We have recently uploaded the footage from 30.11.2010 onto our group mac and reviewed it a short while ago, as predicted, due to the lack of light the quality isn't as good as our former shooting sessions. We're currently looking at what it is we could keep, what is energetic and looks good, but when we film next, we'll reshoot the scene, hopefully with a more enthusiastic cast which would then lead to better footage.
For the most part, we've decided what it is we can keep but will re-film everything.

Eminem (Iconography research).

I have chosen an artist from the same genre as my Professor Green, who has had a long-lasting career Eminem. I'm going to evaluate the iconography between Eminem's website (From a previous post), an album/single cover and a music video, to see how effective they are and how they're used: I am confident that this will help me develop my chosen ideas.

Like Toy Soldiersis a cover by Eminem, only using a vocal sample of the original song. The lyrics depict many problems within the rap community, especially in rap-wars between artists and finds Eminem attempting to explain and offer a truce to his enemies. The single cover for this song (above) contains Eminem's logo, which has (as previously stated) accompanied him through out his career, making the artist recognisable. The font has remained the same to that of his name for the title, and this is a re-occuring theme through out the covers of Eminem's songs and website (for the logo of his name). The front cover of this single links excellently to the video where Eminem seems to compare the lives of rappers to toys (perhaps suggesting that their lives are thrown away needlessly), it depicts a literal toy solider with blood leaking from its body. This along with the video, illustrates Eminem's point effectively and in turn, makes for an effective single cover.

Initial ideas for CD/Digipak.

Initially, I was going to make a whole album cover for Professor Green, which would obviously include my groups chosen track 'Jungle'. I decided to have a picture of the boy who acted Professor Green in the video on my front cover, using a still from what we had previously shot. I was torn between the use of block font or the graffiti font that I had found. However, I have already seen the album cover that exists for 'Alive 'Till I'm Dead' and I believed that if I had stuck to this choice that my own cover would be far too similar in its layout to the original to be credited for my own ideas and I wanted to avoid this. Though I have discarded this decision, I am considering using Professor Green's actor on the website.
Instead, I have decided that it would be more sensible to use a design a single cover for the track we are filming, which I will also insert on my webpage. I made this decision as I believe that I'll be able to effectively link iconography between the three, which the audience will be able to recognise. I still plan to use a still from our video, however I want to encapsulate what I believe is an important part of it: the face off between Professor Green, the lions and Maverick, the gorillas. I'm still quite undecided on the type of font I'm going to use although I am more partial to using block font as its used mostly on my website: I want the graffiti font to be exclusively for Professor Green's name. On the back, of course, I will have the track name and the extra disc's name ('The making of.'). On the inside, there will be two discs and as of yet, I'm still deciding what I want on the inside.

Website update.

I had made decent progress on my website, but then, at one point lost everything and have had to start from scratch. Personally, I have a fair bit of difficulty with the software, however, as I am slowly getting used to it, I am finding everything a little less frustrating. My website still isn't near completion due to a fair few setbacks, however, I am investing time into my website out of school hours and I will continue to do so until it is completed.
Currently, my website isn't anywhere near completion and in some ways, I am struggling with it: I am constantly thinking of ways to link the iconography of my website to the video (The filming of which is almost done) and now, where we are considering the design of our CD/Digipak, I believe it will be a lot easier to do this, because the three are being looked at together. Once I am confident that I have the iconography for everything linked together, hopefully, I will move through the completion of the website. This is the first update I have posted on my blog for my website, due to my not being happy with it and being quite unsure how I would link everything, but I shall post on here regularly about my website until it is finished.

30.11.2010

Last Tuesday, Jemma, Joe and I tried to do the last section of our filming but again, we were let down by the majority of our cast not being able to make it to filming - we managed to get the majority of the gorillas footage done, however I'm not too sure about the films quality due to the fact that our location wasn't as well lit as we had anticipated. Despite the lack of light, we improvised and used the torches from our phones which did work, but the lighting would have been much better if there were street lights. We didn't have the song with us, which didn't help our other main actor mouth the words and so we were unable to do this shot but the actors we did have, weren't acting as enthusiastic and I'd hoped they would be. Admittedly, Denzi helped a lot with the last lot of filming we did by getting the actors to be more relaxed and eased them into their roles as the rest of us gave them instructions - I think Denzi will help a lot with our next filming as he brings an energy to the set. As a group we have decided to film some of the gorillas footage once more in the hope of getting a better quality and a wider variety of shots.
Here are photo's of our shooting plan, which we prepared whilst waiting for it to get darker:

This is the same as the photo above, however we annotated the drawing in order to get a clear idea of what we were shooting and to film more effectively:

Here are some photo's I took whilst we were filming:

CD/Digipack Cover Analysis.

Three CD promotion covers from your genre.
1) What is the genre of music?
2)How is the targeted audience? How are they targeted?
3)How successful is the iconography in promoting the artist?

The genre of Giggs' music is clearly rap, this is denoted by a stereotypical rebellion against authority, specifically the police forces; here the artist has chosen to embrace the over-all toughness and crime associated with this genre (Again, this is shown by a drawing of the artist over-powering the police force, who are also pictured). This genre is also connoted by the slang used in the album's name; Let 'Em 'Ave It. Typically, the audience of this genre are teenagers, arguably this is because these artists represent and rap about issues/rebellion that youths are faced with. This album cover promotes the artist successfully as it lends itself to stereotypes within the genre, promoting the artist as a part of the genre.

The genre of Eminem's music is also rap, however, this is not as clearly denoted as Giggs album cover, as an artist, Eminem relies on his fame, being quite recognisable even though his face isn't visible. If a consumer can't recognise the artist from behind, the album covers name Recovery has a backwards 'e', which is a well known part of Eminem's logo. This album cover is successful in promoting the audience using iconography such as the backward 'e' which Eminem has used through out his music career in his name. Due to the fact that Eminem is of the same genre as of music, his audience is also teenagers, and he too raps about specific issues (e.g. family problems, financial problems, aspirations etc) which speaks to the younger generation, and allows him to vent. For many, Eminem is genuine and this comes from his fairly long career.

The genre of Professor Green's music is also rap, again, this isn't as obvious as it is in Giggs album cover. The artist is pictured, (as with all three), and as with Giggs, is not smiling, promoting the 'bad-boy' stereotype. The iconography of this album cover is incredibly simple, using only three colours; white, grey, and green, this appeals to the audience due to the fact that it relates to the audience the simplicity of his music and makes him more relatable.

Both Giggs' and Eminem's CD covers appeal effectively to their target audience by using their existing fan-base (especially Eminem through out his long-lasting career) and using stereotypes to promote themselves (especially Giggs). These two artists are essentially in competition to have a consumer buy one album instead of the other, as they appeal to the same target audience due it being from the same genre. Personally, I think Eminem's cover is more effective in using its iconography simply because he is a widely known artist, cleverly using his fame and recognisable logo.

24.11.2010. First filming session.

Despite earlier complications, we managed to get ourselves more organised in the space we had between Friday and Wednesday, and our actors turned up, prepared. We arrived early so that we could make sure we were confident with what we were filming and could make sure we would get the best out of our actors. Permission slips were collected from our actors, as we travelled towards our chosen location, we explained to the actors what their role was in more detail.
First off, into filming, the process was quite slow, but once we got the actors more enthusiastic about their roles (with the help of Denzi, who provided a great amount of energy and basically put our instructions into physical movement) , we found that everything flowed a lot better and faster. We decided as a group to use both the HD camera and the smaller, hand-held one, in order to keep grasp of our idea of the video having a 'Documentary feel' to it (we had lost track of it getting establishing shots on the same Friday our filming didn't go ahead). We got a decent chunk of our video recorded on camera, the parts of Professor Green approaching the other territory and I'm particularly pleased with the outcome.

25th November Lesson Editing.

Due to the fact we shot a fair bit of footage the previous day, what we had on camera was transferred over to the Mac so that we could begin editing what we had. I was surprised by how good it looked because whilst filming I had a fair few doubts because of the amounts of re-shooting we did, however, this really did pay off.
As a group, we have completed part of the opening sequence for our video and I'm really looking forward to seeing it coming together (unlike last year). I really like the way our video has come out so far, and the creative, yet achievable concept which lead to our filming.

Professor Green's Official Jungle Video.

For this piece of coursework, we were set particular restrictions by our teacher, who requested that we made a video for a track which did not already have one. At the start of this course, we sought permission from Professor Green (Jemma being successful) to use his song and he gave it to us. Recently, the official version of Jungle has been shown on T.V and youtube. Here it is:

The start of this video shows a sort of funeral and gives the impression that these gangs are reacting to one another based on the death of this individual. Cleverly, when the beat drops, one of the actors boots the door through, which is quite an interesting choice when one notices it. A fair amount of the video is filmed on a tilt, which is only really noticeable when there is a long-shot. The variety of long-shots, dolly-shots, close-ups and mid-shots all work well together and helps illustrate the violence between these opposing gangs. The narrative within this video is fairly entwined with the performance between Professor Green and Maverick, showing them both with aggressive gangs. This video also shows gang violence - much like our own - and even someone with a silver mask, which doesn't seem to have much relevance. A fair few lyrics match the song's video, (for example, 'laughing like hyena's do' depicts someone laughing with sound effects and 'from young the way we're shown' includes a shot of a child). Professor Green takes a part in his own video, also giving off the 'bad-boy' persona, which is linked with this genre of music and with the events in the video. For the most part, this video is of good quality and illustrates the danger for those in gangs, however, I don't believe it is very effective as it seems to make more for an entertaining video rather than putting across any sort of message about the events.

When I compare this to the ideas we have and the shots we have filmed in our own music video for this song there are a few similarities. For example, we also depict two opposing gangs and entwine our narrative with the performance between Maverick and Professor Green, except we give the foremost a little more importance within the video. Whilst neither seem to take a part in the violence in the official video, in our own, they are the leaders of the two opposing gangs. We decided to use the title to make a major decision - giving our actors animal masks. Our video has a lot more of a message to it, seeing as the group of lions are much younger than the gorilla's, which, looks like the younger generation of gangs are rebelling against the older ones.

Scouting Locations.

During our two hour period, we couldn't film due to having our film set during the night. Insteaad, myself, Joe and Jemma decided to scout our locations to get a clearer idea of how they would look on camera. We took a fair few shots of our main locations and possible locations, however, we did not focus on the different angles as within our video, there are going to be a fair few.

Friday 19th

We have had to reschedule our filming twice due to our actors not being able to turn up, so instead, we decided to get some establishing shots. We filmed traffic, one of our actors (Joe) walking down the subway, a police car passing graffiti on a shop. We chose these because of their gritty appearance which coincides with the 'documentary' feel of our video. Despite their appearance, the fact we filmed this on a HD camera took away a lot of the rough feeling to it, when we film, we'll consider ways in which we can keep a grasp of this idea. Filming will go ahead on Wednesday 24th November.

Props.

Along with deciding the layout of our plan, we also decided on which props we would use. Seeing as our concept is quite a normal one we wanted to add a degree of surrealism into our video, we decided that the actors/actresses in our video would wear animal masks. Here is photographic evidence of the masks we have chosen:

Here's how members of our group look wearing these masks:

Lessons Discussion/Video Concept.

During our double lesson we discussed as a group what we were going to feature in our video. Considering the lyrics of our video and its title Jungle we decided use the concept of a concrete jungle and relate it to gang activity as the lyrics expose violence, and the way of life for some youths. We considered the title of the song when deciding how to add an abstract element to our video, we came to the decision that those who participate should wear animal masks, and that these masks would represent two separate, opposing gangs. We ordered our props,which were lioness and gorilla masks, that the lioness' would be younger teenagers (11-14) and the gorilla's would be older teens (16-18), thinking that this was symbolic of youths rebelling against authority (whether that is in adults or in those who are just older than them). The whole video will lead up to a climax which is these two gangs confronting one another. We decided that shots were a major part of our video and settled on a documentary feel for it, using a walk and talk shot through out, feeling that, because of the lyrics, the whole thing needed a 'gritty' feeling to it.

Shot list production and photographic evidence:

As a group, we decided that it was easier to use a shot list rather than a story board. Our shots were planned quite closely to the song itself, in our attempt to give the song a strong sense of meaning. As a group, we contributed our ideas and most of them were used, judging on their practicability, and how they would look on camera.

Permission.

Intentions.

For my banner design, I initially decided that I wanted alternating images, varying between four, each of which would attract the viewers and advertise, in terms of advertisement. My intentions are to have four images, one of which is a logo for Professor Green which I have designed, choosing from fonts on dafont.com, another is the artist preforming showing his growing renown, the artist portrayed clearly, and then his album cover. However, using gimp, I am going to attempt having the photos sliding when a viewer hovers their mouse over it.
Due to the lack of sufficient software, at home I am going to use an editing programme otherwise known as photoscape, causing the images to flash from one to another. This way, with the two separate banner designs, initially using the same photos, I am hopefully, giving myself more choice, I will print screen them both, analyse them and then choose the better of the two. Afterwards, I will then import one of them into iweb, where I am creating my website.

Banner Designs

First Banner Design:

More detailed:

Monday, 1 November 2010

How have you used web page conventions to create brand identity?

The function of a logo is to represent the site/product in such a way that viewers will remember it. My logo is placed at the top of my home-page for my website, as this is the first place viewers tend to look. The uniqueness and simplicity of the logo itself makes it quite likely that a viewer will remember the picture of an ear with an iPod speaker inside.

Final Logo Designs:

This is photographic evidence of my progress in making the decisions of what I would choose as my logo. As seen above, the page has three designs and all three are annotated with my opinions and the like.

My choice of the logo I would use turned out to be quite different to what I had drawn. I took the main principles from my first design, being of the ear. and the idea of a speaker from my third and combined the two. The positioning of the companies name (In The Ear) came from the idea of my second design, using lines to connote that the speakers are playing. Instead of a radio that would connect to the genre of music my group has chosen, I decided to use the speaker of an iPod headphones, which would appeal to the correct audience, considering their reliance on technology, plus the fact that the iPod headphones are obvious denotations of listening to music. Doing this also doesn't restrict the company to one particular genre of music. The logo itself, takes the companies name and directly relates to hearing something (i.e. music). The simplicity and uniqueness of this logo, I believe, would attract website viewers.

Photographic evidence of my mood-board and website design.

This is my initial idea of a webpage design:

Introduction to iWeb.

Using iWeb we were instructed to create a website. The website I made met the brief provided as it contained; a black background, the sites name (The Southern Consortium and has the five pages, three of which were suggested (News, Events, Blogs) and the manditory homepage. All five pages are linked successfully to one another, however, I did encounter problems; I wasn't able to properly experiment with the software or add any information to the pages. Also, when I linked the pages, fonts of certain pages were smaller and/or of a different colour for no apparant reason.

11th October 2010.

How did you use your iconography research and web page analysis' to inform your homepage design plans?

My mood board gave me ideas for the home page, like what to include (things such as downloading opportunities, communication websites etc.). It also helped me decide on the types of fonts I would use, I could choose between block fonts (as seen on other artists website) or graffiti fonts (concerning the genre of music, and my research on logo designs.). It also helped me decide on colours and even particular images (background etc.)
Research on Professor Green's official website, though it is itself effective, using all the conventions, helped me decide what I would and wouldn't include. For example, I've chosen not to lay it out in the same way, rather drawing inspiration from Eminem's website, not wanting it to be too similar to my chosen artist.

Analysis of Professor Green's Homepage.

Professor Green's Homepage as a whole;

As a homepage, Professor Green's is very effective as it sticks to typical conventions. Its layout is simple and enables any viewer who accesses this site to navigate around it easily enough. The whole site is laid out in a particular way which makes information easy to access and read the necessary information. Cleverly, this site taps into viral marketing as the link to it can be passed around amongst friends, thus giving it more viewing, there are also displays of videos from the artists, meaning existing fans and others who are linked to the website can listen to Professor Green's music. There are also other ways which are given, such as downloading the album from itunes (seen in the top left hand corner), appealing to the fact that many people (especially Professor Green's fans) use technology. There is also a very conventional use of text through out this page, giving viewers the necessary information, tapping into the existing fans of the artist who want to connect with him and even using the text to draw a potential audience member/fan in.

As an artist Professor Green doesn't have an official/recognisable logo (though there is a specific font on his website, shown in the image on the right). Despite this, Professor Green uses his tattoo as a part of his image, the specific font on his website is quite similar to the font of his tattoo. The colour design of this page as a whole is rather interesting, it takes what a person would expect - the use of the colour green - and twists that, rather than making the whole thing vibrant (which would admittedly appeal to others, though sometimes younger people), it has a dark, more mature feeling to it, thus reaching out to his vast audience (being adolescents).

The use of a menu bar allows effective navigation around the site itself, allowing viewers to use these links to get to other pages on the website as a whole and access different kinds of information such as blogs, news, biography, gigs and video's. However, the lay out of this menu bar is quite different from the regular webpage's (taking Eminem's as an example where the menu bar is found at the very top), this draws attention to it and encourages viewers to look at other pages. A sense of community is created due to the page labelled 'members', perhaps those who have joined the site have access to certain things, encouraging people to join.

Audience Surveys/ Audience Profile.

Overall, we handed out 90 surveys to all years in our school and, we received 35.5% in return. Due to this lack of feedback, as is the danger of surveys, we decided to combine three genres, all of which are quite similar to one another; R'n'B, Hip-Hop and Rap. 22% of males who participated in this survey liked Professor Green whilst 43% of females who took part liked Professor Green. Although, in our survey, the percentage of females who liked professor Green was higher, as a group we have decided that we're going to try to appeal to males more in a video. Due to the lack of feedback, it is quite possible that our survey isn't representative of both genders preferences.
As a whole,59% of those who took the survey, accessed their music through the internet whilst 75% gained access to their music through the television. Of those who preferred the three genre's we have chosen to consider as a whole (or at least related to one another), 65% of them used the internet (39% being female and 26% being male) and 73% of them used television (47% were female and 26% were male).

Audience Profile;

John Webster is 15, and is still in full time education. In his spare time, he likes to access music through either the T.V or the Internet, spending a lot of his time using the both of them. His three preferred genres of music are; Hip-Hop, Rap and R'n'B due to their similar links to one another and the fact his favourite artists over lap.

The internet as a promotional tool.

Advantages:
Viral marketing; making information easier to access and granting the ability for a link to be passed from fan to fan.
Community; creating a sense of community for an already existing fan base.
Recognition; newer bands can use the internet in order to gain recognition, accessing the technological generation (many people using computers), pitching their music to a particular audience (unsigned bands on myspace).
Accessibility; the internet is widely accessed.
Technology; has advanced majorly, allowing more things to be done.
Image; allowing the band to represent themselves.
Conventions; using conventions in order to pitch to particular audience.
Audience; allowing them to reach a wider audience.
Contact; allowing fans to contact the band.

Disadvantage;
Hacking; could ruin this advertisement.
Technology failure; risk of the website crashing, which could then loose money.
False advertisement; viewers could be shown something that isn't genuine.
Server space; if there isn't enough space on the server, then what is promised cannot be provided, again loosing them money.
Communication; panic can cause troubles in communicating, making false promises.

Glossary.

Professor Green.

Track.

Our chosen track is Professor Green's Jungle.

Lyrics;

I see no point in living life that right, so I just take what I can find.
I see no point in living life that right, when your out here in this jungle.
It's wild round 'ere, you don't wanna spend a night round 'ere.
When your out here in this jungle, aint nothing nice round 'ere, troubles what you find round 'ere.
When your out here in this jungle, in this jungle.
Your always caught in this struggle, in this jungle .
But you keep asking for trouble, you love? You love when trouble comes your way, your way, your way.

Verse 1: Welcome to Hackney, a place where I think somebody's been playing Jumanji.
A Manor where man are like animals, an' they'll yam on you like they yam on food.
Cats with claws that'll stab a yout', act bad an' catch a slap or two.
We don't applaud success, all we clap are tools.
London aint cool to cruise through where the hunters pray, Looking lunch today, and your chains looking like fresh fruit to a hungry ape.
They'll eat on you, then laugh about it like Hyenas do, so stick to breezing through, like cheeta's do or be a piece of food.

Chorus;
When your out here in this jungle.

Verse 2:
It's blitz admist the strife here, got kids with sticks and knifes here.
It's hype here, we know no different prick; it's just life here, life the way we know from young the way we're shown.
Stacked trapped in flats where our front doors don't face the road.
God CID spinning round in cars, shifting criminals at large, it's hard, not to think the bits are just a bing without the bars.
Jealousy's what the cheddar brings, for the cheddar it's anything goes, low enough to rob newly weds for their wedding rings
Everyday is warring, never give a warning, violence is the only way you settle things, everyday is hating, money that I'm making, jealous 'cause I'm moving on to better things, everyday is fighting, rolling in the night now. All you do is watch everyone else get far, you say that life is hard..

When your out here in this jungle.
It's wild round 'ere, you don't wanna spend a night round 'ere.
When your out here in this jungle, aint nothing nice round 'ere, troubles what you find round 'ere.
When your out here in this jungle, in this jungle.
Your always caught in this struggle, in this jungle .
But you keep asking for trouble, you love, You love when trouble comes your way, your way, your way.

Initial discussion and notes.

There seems to be three types of music videos;
1) Narrative.
2) Performance.
3) Abstract.

Generally, I prefer videos that are quite abstract, whether it is due to animation, odd things occurring, or interesting ideas. I tend to remember music videos that are humorous or have a narrative.
After some discussion within my group, we found quite quickly that we have different musical tastes. However, there were some similarities in what attracted us to music videos, regardless of preferences to the music itself. As a group we realised that videos which tended to be quite abstract with some kind of narrative appealed most to us.
Given this some thought, an abstract video may be quite difficult to film, however it isn't impossible with the editing facilities at our disposal, and the abstract elements of our video do not necessarily have to be major.

I watched a few official music videos and took notes on them, attempting to distinguish what 'type' of music video they could be categorized into.

Pendulum - Witchcraft;
Through out the video, the band appears to perform to the song, however, there are no shots of them performing live. There is a narrative within this video, though the narrative itself is quite loose and seems to have very little relation to the song on first viewing. There are plenty of abstract parts to this video; purple water, a purple material is given life and wraps around a female, pulling her deeper into the water, rubble on the ground assumes its original shape. Arguably, there is religious imagery, lights create a star (possibly the star of David). From the quality of the video, it's fair to suggest that it was filmed in High Definition. Editing was used majorly in the production of this video. This is more of an abstract video than anything else.

Queens of the Stone Age - Monsters in the Parasol;
There is no actual performance from the band in this video, instead, a few members appear in the video as though they are ordinary people - relying on existing fanbase to recognise them. There is a narrative; a male dressed as a female, collecting money from people, this gives the impression 'she' is connected to the shady business (Possibly drugs, linking the video to the lyrics 'Paul's sister is an alien'). This video has no major abstract elements (just odd signs - a man dressed as a woman), though the lyrics of the actual song are abstract. The shots in this video are longer than usual, a dolly shot follows this actor through out, sometimes the average duration of a shot changes. There is no overt editing in this video, and sometimes, the impression is given that the camera is a simple one, as the quality isn't as good. In terms of the sort of video this is, it mixes two of the three types, giving more for the viewer to go on.

Kings of Leon - On Call;
This video includes no narrative, instead it features a performance through out. The editing is quite simple, going from a white background, to actual scenery (which could have easily been filmed in an actual location). This video includes many close ups of the lead singer, emphasising his role. Long shots are included of th entire band and there are no majorly abstract events. More than anything else, this video is largely based on the band performing to the song.
